"The Threshing Floor". This work of Russian art is significant
in that not only does Andrei Venetsianov concern himself with
the life of Russian peasants, but this painting is a rare
example of linear perspective. Linear perspective was not
commonly encountered in the work of Russian artists, not even
during the twentieth century.
